The Program Committee has arranged a schedule of engaging speakers who will entertain and inform you from June to September. Reservations for each program are requested and may be made by calling the museum at (207) 633-0820. Further information will appear in the Boothbay Register as each program date nears. Light refreshments will be served following each program.
Thursday, June 11, 4 p.m. – Hotelier John Druce will talk about his and his wife Charlotte’s years as owners of Spruce Point Inn.
Thursday, July 9, 4 p.m. – Bill Peterson of South Bristol, a naval architect, will talk about boats that he and his father Murray designed and that were built in region shipyards, including Goudy & Stevens, Hodgdon Brothers, Ervin Jones, and Norman Hodgdon.
Thursday, August 20, 4 p.m. – Susan Brackett and Steve Teel, two people who were indispensable in saving the Kenniston Hill Inn, will talk about its history and its “big move” as well as about the Teel years of owning the country club.
Thursday, September 17, 4 p.m. - Jim Hunt, a vessel researcher, and past board member and president, will talk about shipbuilding in the Region during World War II and how the war affected the lives of those living in the area at that time.

Friday, July 3, Holiday Bake Sale. Stock up on yummies for the long weekend. Sale runs from 9:00 until sold out, so come early!
Saturday, October 10, Annual Cheese & Treats. Another popular event! Aged cheddar cheese, sweet treats, and maybe a few surprises. More information as the sale gets closer.
Saturday, December 5, Holiday Open House. Join us for holiday refreshments and casual conversation. The museum will be decorated with a variety of items from years gone by. The winner of this year’s raffle will be chosen at the open house. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
