The exhibit, “Boothbay Goes to War, 1861-1865,” illustrates the community’s participation in the war effort and the effect on those who joined the Maine units. Researcher Mark Scott has updated the roster of the local participants, and highlighted the wartime activities of several area residents.
Skilled researcher Devyn Campbell has gathered information from Maine’s Adjutant General’s Reports, printed during the war and including information on the soldiers, their companies, and regiments.
