- March 19 4:00-6:00pm Boothbay Region Historical Society and Sample’s Shipyard (Bristol Marine)-will offer a shipyard tour, presentation and reception. Free admission!

May 19 Annual Meeting 4:00pm-5:30pm-Guest speaker-Jon Dunsford will introduce our new exhibit honoring the Navy.
- May 21 Exclusive Members Only event 4:30pm-6:30pm.
- June 19 noon-2:00pm Exhibit Open House honoring the 250th anniversary of the Navy. This exhibit will highlight the long-standing connection between local shipyards and the Navy. Local BRHS historian Jim Hunt characterized the story as “Iron men in wooden ships.” This special exhibit will be on display throughout the year. A panel discussion will take place at 1:00 pm. Refreshments will be offered.
- July 3 Annual Summer Bake Sale 9:00am until sold out!
- July 15 5:00pm-6:30pm Chamber After Hours at Society-Recognizing 2026 Program Sponsors
- July 28 6:30pm-8:00pm Speaker Series: News Center Maine’s Don Carrigan, will talk about his career in television, and changes that have occurred over the years within Maine’s coastal communities. This event will be in collaboration with the Friends of the Southport Historical Society and will take place at the Southport Town Hall.
- August 12 11:30am-1:00pm- Tea, Treats, and Tales being held at the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club. This fundraising event will offer tea, and an assortment of treats to include tea sandwiches and desserts, followed by a presentation, History of the Boothbay Harbor Monday Club, by Julia O’Brien-Merrill. Tickets will be $45.00pp, limit fifty guests.
- September 16 11:30am-1:30pm Luncheon at Mine Oyster with Guest Speaker-Food Historian Sandy Oliver. Sandy’s presentation will be from her book “Saltwater Foodways.” Tickets will be $35.00 pp, limit fourty.
- October 10 Cheese & Treats Sale 9:00am until sold out! Pre-order date will be announced later this year.
- October 16 1:00pm-3:00pm Preserving Treasures event at the Boothbay Railway Village Town Hall Building. This event is in collaboration with the Friends of the Southport Historical Society and the Boothbay Railway Village.

- March 3 Boothbay Region Historical Society and Bristol Marine’s Shipyard – a special event a tour and reception prior to the launch of the refurbished Eleanor a reproduction of a ship that played a vital role during the Boston Tea Party in 1773
- June 19 Exhibit opens honoring the US Coast Guard and its connection to the Boothbay Region since 1817.
- July 3 Annual Summer Bake Sale 9:00am until sold out!
- July 10 Speaker Series: Van Reid, author of the Moosepath League series. Historical novels set in the state of Maine in the late 19th century. The presentation begins at 4:30pm. WATCH on YOUTUBE
- August 11 Speaker Series: Dwight & Duane Lewis, retired Southport Bridge tenders. Stories will be shared about the “then and now” in collaboration with the Southport Historical Society. The presentation begins at 7:00pm at the Southport Town Hall. WATCH on YOUTUBE
